I was unable to scan the QR code. What should I do?

Scratch off the cover

Make sure you remove all of the cover from the QR code with a coin, without damaging it.

Watch your shadow

If you’ve turned on more lights or opened the shades and the QR code still isn’t scanning, make sure you’re not casting a shadow onto the QR code.

Hold steady

Put your PUK card on a counter, table or other solid object. If it’s shaking too much, your phone’s camera may have trouble focusing. You can also try propping your elbows on the table to steady your hand.

Keep your distance

Make sure that the QR code fills the box in the iBlue Immobilizer app. If you’re holding your phone too close or too far away, it won’t scan.

Use the PUK code number

The PUK code is written on your card with alphanumeric characters as well, and you can enter these characters instead of scanning the QR code. The iBlue Immobilizer app will give you the option to type in the code manually if the above tips didn’t help.
