  3. Search for your device
Once your iBlue Smart Gate device is powered on, the application will automatically search for your device. During search, make sure your Bluetooth is turned on, as this is how your phone communicates with your iBlue device. Learn more about Bluetooth here. Search may take up to 30 seconds.

When an iBlue device appears on your screen, tap Next at the bottom of the screen.

  4. Scan the QR code
Use your phone to scan the QR code on the PUK code card of your iBlue Smart Gate. You can find the card in the box and scratch off the coating from the gray area.

If your phone’s camera can’t successfully scan the QR code, tap “Enter the code manually” and you can enter in the alphanumeric code from the PUK card.

  5. Enter a name for your key
During setup, a new virtual key (master key) will be created for your device. You need to enter a name for this key, so if you have more than one you can identify it easily. Enter a name like “Home Garage” or “Entry Door”.

  6. Select a color and icon
You can select a custom color and icon for your key, so if you have more than one key you can distinguish them easily.

  7. Finish setup
Tap Get Started and now your key is ready to use. Simply swipe your key’s icon to the right to open your gate or door, and swipe to the left to reach Settings and Share.

Remember: You only need to setup your device this way on one phone. This will generate a master key on your phone. If you want to use the same key on another phone, just simply share the key and do not setup with the PUK code again.
